Spectrum executing in the background when closed

I have observed that sometimes, the change between workspaces with the numbers is slow. This happens because the Spectrum that is hidden at this moment is executing all the calculations of the new curve like if it was visible. If I made it visible, I minimize it and I hide it again usually the issue is fixed.

The problem is that I can't reproduce it in a programmatic manner, so I can't fix it. It happens from time to time and I don't know the origin.

I open this issue to see if someone has detected the same and can give some steps to reproduce the problem.
