Will this repository be dropped to rewrite the editor from scratch, or as the base to continue the work?

I don't know much about the rendering and ECS etc, so it's difficult for me to contribute the bevy engine repository. However, as a front-end developer, it may be easier for to write some ui components for me, so I would like to contribute to the bevy editor. But I don't quite understand the positioning of this project, just as the title said. Is it just a research and experimental project to explore the possibility of editor? If so, my contribution would not have a big impact on its purpose. So I want to make sure the positioning of this repository before contributing.

IMO we're likely to use this repo like any other project we're upstreaming: polishing it, then incorporating one battle-hardened component at a time.

Not everything that's in here will make it upstream, and it won't be absorbed all at once.
