currently, there are no concrete plans to add surface rendering capabilities. Would you already be happy with some code to render a surface downloaded from the server, or would you also require support for generating the surfaces in the browser?

Hi Marco,
generating the surfaces in the browser would be preferred if possible and performant enough. I would actually like to color the surface according the color of the closest amino acids and doing this dynamically.
But the first option would also be interesting for the start.

OK, thanks for the information. I'll put it on my todo list. It's not the smallest of features, so it might take a while for me to find the time to implement it.
