I'm looking for a way to adjust a Bible's formatting. For instance, I would like to make breaks between subjects within the chapter and verse layout.

Will Scribe allow me to do that?

Thank you.

Thanks for the query. I am trying to understand your query: are you wanting to use a newline between sets of verses to indicate different subjects?

Yes, something like that.

One of the problems with the subject and verse standard is that it was created by a guy who couldn't think of a better method and so it became a somewhat arbitrary methodology that every Bible translator used to format a page. But that is not a page layout standard. The Bible pages should not be divided by chapters, but rather by subjects.

I would like to mark up my Bible version by my own way I read the subjects presented, with smaller chapter and verse markings.

While I can make in-line notes, that does not help with readability.
