It would be useful to open a text prompt to let the user pipe selections through any arbitrary command, as opposed to having to pre-define them.

If issue #1 is fixed I can fork this and work on this feature myself. Actually for all I know this feature might even already exist, haha.

That sounds good. I have a fair bit of work to do to get to this point. I am on a windows machine now, so have a chance to debug for windows. Also I have ST3 now too (since they started giving it away for free) and updated my other plugin to work for ST3. Next job is issue #1 as you say. I plan to do this soon.
