no complaints/notifications of prolonged sync failures

• I'm using the latest available DAVx⁵ version.

Steps to reproduce

1. setup davx account
2. sync - confirm everything works..
3. bock sync url (put basic auth in front f.ex. - so it responds 401)
4. no complaints from davx .. not even after days of not being able to sync in background :(

This is about long time sync not being complained about - so entries create on my mobile - never reached the server (until I found this 401 basic auth that was mistakenly put in front of caldav url and removed it again).

I only noticed it, because I was trying to setup davx on a new mobile (android 14) - and it failed on initial setup (where davx does check obviously :)

Please note that 401 and other errors are treated differently. Soft errors (I/O errors) are only shown after a few retries as "too many retries".

Are notifications allowed for DAVx5?
