Hi.
I'm looking to build some methodology around BitTorrent protocol.
Is it to fine to use BitTorrent word in copyright material or documents?
Also I'm looking for some official reference about this.
Please let me know. Thanks.

Disclaimer: Not a lawyer. Not representing the trademark holder.

The bittorrent protocol specifications (BEPs) are released under public domain, see the copyright notice at the bottom of each BEP. Bittorrent itself is a registered trademark (look it up in a US trademark database). I'm not aware of any official policy referring to its allowed use.

In the past there was a trademark statement, but it's absent from the current website.
