Describe the bug

It seems to happen intermittently, sometimes it connects with no problem and sometimes it crashes and the the crash/bug report option comes up. Sseems to be roughly a 3 in 10 chance.

To Reproduce

Attempting to authenticate to remote server. Typed in password, and then enter. Program crashed.
