I made a little progress but I obviously don't know what I'm doing. I tried updating the mtk_da_handler.py file and added: I can now open the GUI again, but I still can't re-write the preloader. The debug log says: There has to be an easy way to re-write the preloader...I hope. |

figured out how to do it. Basically needed to pass in "--parttype=boot1" e.g. back in business...thanks for the awesome program. |

Is there a way to start the the mtk_gui with a custom preloader? Or is there a way to writing a new preloader with the commandline mtk?
I tried writing a new preloader via the gui but it locked up. Now the GUI gets stuck at:
I can still run the commandline version if I pass in my backed up preloader. example
python mtk printgpt --preloader dump\boot1.bin
But I can't find a way to re-write the preloader via the commandline.
Any help would be appreciated.
