Hmm, I had noticed this before but I thought my changes had fixed some of it. Perhaps it has to do with the playbook-specific part of SDL requiring full screen video modes?
I don't have time to investigate at the moment, but I would check what happens if we change the return value from ListModes...

This is a minor issue. Not really a big deal, but I thought I would mention it.
It seems like the SDL_VideoModeOK method does not work properly. It was returning "false" when I tried checking a valid video mode.
