Connected to 2.4ghz only radio. Bummer was hoping it was my multi band radio that was causing it. |

that is not all that is needed though, WiFi interference or packet delays can still cause timeouts or issues. You could try adding |

Still throwing errors. I typically have my devices blocked from accessing the internet, so i figure i'd unblock and update the firmware on the camera. Unfortunately still throwing errors. Does the configuration look appropriate? The fact that it says "recording" for a lot of the errors and "invalid data found" im curious if it is a config error? |

it's clear the camera is sending invalid data, but that is not abnormal for tapo cameras. the timeouts on go2rtc side are a network issue but it could just be inherent to the camera itself if increasing the timeout did not help |

All my cameras are Tapo, I used to have this kind of connectivity issues until I found a configuration that is working fine. It's been working rock solid for more than a year. My config looks like: go2rtc:

@didi3r do you see any warnings or errors in your frigate logs for htis setup? I am testing it out and its erroring still but with different logs. I also noticed that with this connection, the stream is choppy (but not unbearably choppy) compared to my previous configs above. |

No I don't have no errors on my side. "Connection refused" gives the impression the camera is closing the connection or the networks is unestable. Is it connected through WiFi? All mine are wired. 🤔 |

Yeah wifi. The device is like right next to my AP and the c110 was in the same place without any issues. Im hoping its the device itself and these issues will go away when i get my RMA. |

FWIW I have the same issue with my C120s, according to my Eero 6E, they are causing a ton of wifi interference, i have 5 cams up and that maxes out my 2.4ghz spectrum, 6+ cams locks the whole spectrum up. have you tried just running a few cams simultaneously and see if that fixes your issue? |

I just got the same camera but I have not tested it in Frigate yet. Have you tried not using the substream and using just the mainstream? |

I ended up getting my RMA set up here and im still seeing exceptions, but its not completely killing the camera stream. I tried @didi3r's suggestion but still had errors and the feed was more choppy than having a separate rtsp and ffmpeg item in the go2rtc stream. Also tried without a substream. Im gonna see how long the camera actively stays working on this RMA camera and will report back. |

I have a number of Tapo cameras and the C120's for some reason throw a ton of errors in the logs and become unresponsive every day requiring scheduled restarts in order for things to work.

Its the Kitchen Camera. The Basement and Loft cameras work no problem and they're C110s. Others are POE.
