the easiest way to debug this is to look at the debug live view when there is a cat or rerun the clip so you can check out what is going on |

ok. i've done that and I think it's not detecting it as a cat (or anything). I lowered the To prove I have the devcontainer working I set a 2nd loop with my front door and people and cars driving by. That worked. The event maintainer log is constantly output detection of the people/cars but nothing from the cat camera I'm at a loss |

yeah, that looks optimal so not sure why it is not detected other than that the default model is just struggling. You can right click on a video to "save frame as" and upload manually to frigate+. Otherwise it would probably be more effective to run frigate+ model training and start uploading after using it |

Hello, Is the actual model used in Frigate today as been enhanced by Frigate+ data ? Cause i've tagged many pictures and i wonder if it's usefull or if i would be better make and iomprove my own model ? |

right, object detection models detect patterns in pixels. It does not see an image like a person does, it can not say "there is something there" because any collection of pixels could be "something" or "nothing" |

Of course ... reason it's the job of the engine responsible for tracking movement that decide... if the track generated by the movement of each block is "natural".. or not... call the AIGetMeAnObjectName() to know the potentially detected object is not that important, it can be in the end when you ask for zone tolerance... dog can go in zone A while they can't in zone B .. etc ... |

You are incorrect. The object types are inherent to the object detection model itself and are defined at time of model training. The object types are built in to the model, it is not something that is done at the same time as zones. |

Describe the problem you are having
I've had cars and people working fine for many many months and previously I did have cats and birds too but switched them off.
But now, I can't for the life of me get it to detect cats.
I'm only trying to get it working in my back garden on the lawn and patio.
I'd like to do this so I can send some positives/falses to F+ before I set off a model generation. I attempted to, but have removed, lower the threshold for cats but took this out as it wasn't making any difference (60%).
Yesterday I reviewed motion footage and there definitely was cat on my lawn.
I took a still and uploaded manually to F+ - this was not detected by Frigate
