Opening the document takes a long time and the UI freezes during the opening of the document

Describe the Problem

It takes a long time to open some documents with Bookworm, taking Epub as an example, and some users report this also happens with some mobi books.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download the provided sample book.
2. Open in Bookworm.
3. It takes a long time to open the document.
4. When you try to view the interface information during the opening of the document, you will find that it is very stuck.

Expected behavior

As far as this document is concerned, it should be opened soon.

If the problem is related to a file, indicate the file you have opened

Please remove the extension (.zip) this is just an epub book.

Maybe related to this: sometimes opening documents directly in explorer is slower than opening them in bookworm.
