Our initial metrics implementation includes lots of metrics related to Golang and Gin, but little about the transactions. Let's implement additional metrics to provide more insight into the traffic we're serving. Some ideas:

  • Metrics sliced by client IP address
  • Transaction contents (metadata or scripts)
