Steps to reproduce

Needs reproducing. This is likely due to the message having arrived locally but somehow the front-end has not been informed.

Expected Behaviour

The return button should send an invite-reply containing the shard

Actual Behaviour

Sometimes it doesn't send. App needed restart before it sent.
