vPilot can't load Plugin #24

Hi all,

I recently updated to the latest version of the plugin. After installing the new .dll and .ini and configuring the .ini, I can't get vPilot to load the plugin and I get the following error message in the vPilot Debug Window:

Image

(German Text translated: The file or assembly "path of .dll" or a dependency of it has not been found. The Process is not supported. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131515))

I have reinstalled the plugin several times, tried the old version and reinstalled vPilot, but nothing has helped. I don't have any other files in my plugins folder either. I do have the FSLabs A321 installed, which I have seen mentioned in other threads, but it was working fine before the update and, as mentioned above, there is no other file in the Plugins folder. I've tried creating a new program and generating a new application token on Pushover, none of which helped.

Thanks kindly for your help!
Kind regards

Hi there,

I don't think I've seen this kind of error before, but it could be related to Windows blocking the file according to some results I've found seaching up your error. Have you attempted unblocking the file as mentioned in the troubleshooting guide ? If you don't find the unblock option, that's not the issue.

If that doesn't work, a wild guess could be trying installing the .NET Runtime found here, if it's rather an error that it can't open the file.

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately I have not been able to fix it. Nothing shows up in the protection history, and I've also excluded the vPilot plugin folder from Windows Defender to see if it blocks it, but that didn't help. I also tried the previous version of the plugin I had installed (1.0.1) but the same error appeared.

I tried installing the .NET Runtime but it said that I already had it or that I had installed a newer version.

Any other ideas?

If you right click the .dll and open properties, do you have any unblock button there?
