also, this is related to high load in #90 I believe.

#52 was closed with "increase the timeout and things will be ok", which is a workaround, not a solution. The real solution is to use a different module (not written yet, see Calamares issue #921). Here we might bump the timeout again, but that's just masking the problem and having no feedback during the operation is .. suboptimal.

@adriaandegroot : would this need a common fix in cala or is it special as in pinebook only? if former, maybe we can close here for now and you open a proper bug in cala issues.
