What's going on with Widevine...?

Some people on Macrumors mentioned widevine didn't seem to be working anymore, so I did some investigating.

For some reason, widevine seems to have mysteriously stopped working in any build newer than 945528. It doesn't appear as supported on https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm and it doesn't show up in Chrome://components.

Notably, it also doesn't work in the "stable" build, which was built and uploaded after 945528 but is based on an older codebase.

I'm installing widevine the same way in all builds, by copying the library into Chromium\ Framework.framework/Libraries/

Any idea what could be going on here?

Ah! sorry, it's my fault 🙇

When I tweaked args.gn few days ago, accidentally removed enable_widevine = true.
r946289 has been rebuilt and replaced with rebuilt binary, and stable is now rebuilding.
