Support for importing/exporting collections #59
Comments
+1 I just introduced Genghis to the startup I work for and they're loving it. The only problem is there's no data export so I was considering adding CSV/JSON export myself. |
If that's the only problem you've got with Genghis you don't know it as well as I do :) If you implement export functionality, I happily accept pull requests. Otherwise, it'll wait until it becomes the most popular feature request and/or I fix a few more pressing issues. |
Well, that and you can't see the list of servers if there's a problem with one of them (wrong login details for example) - Happy to contribute when I can though :) |
@xiy Wait, really? That should have been fixed with the latest release. Are you running the latest? |
v2.1.5 via Gemfile, mounted in a Rails app. Logs say:
And the server list page hangs with the loading gif. |
Ahh. Yeah, that's still a bug. I thought you were talking about the invalid hostname/port issue. |
+1 |
I realise this is 2 years old but I too love Genghis, unfortunately I really want to copy/paste JSON. I'd look into it but I am not a ruby developer so it would be pretty difficult for me. |
It would be awesome to be able to import and export collections easily
