Please, update composer.json
We can you JqueryValidationbundle correctly with:
composer show | grep twig
symfony/twig-bridge v4.0.3 Symfony Twig Bridge
symfony/twig-bundle v3.4.3 Symfony TwigBundle
twig/twig v2.4.4 Twig, the flexible, fast, and secure template language for PHP

tested!
