Running this App on the iPad at the moment is quite tricky.

It might be worth drawing some designs for how the App should work on iPad, before we commence any development with a UISplitViewController.

I would recommend dropping iPad support and replacing the root UISplitViewController, until a design has been decided.

For instance, this is what a placeholder controller would look like.

You can see that it kinda doesn't make much sense having an empty space, or a placeholder controller there. And the 'report a new bug' button triggers a 'create' workflow, so it's not suitable having that controller there either.

It might be good to have a list on the right hand side called 'history' maybe? With a 'plus' bar button item at the top right to create a new bug? With then triggers a modal 'create' workflow.

The blue animal thing image is also offscreen. He comes back if you go portrait. This is a separate bug really.

Hi Rob, sorry for my late reply. While I agree it doesn’t make much sense to have this much empty space on the right detail side the app is fully usable. I don’t see a point of removing iPad support for something that works and allows iPad users to submit/duplicate a radar. In this case, having a sub-optimal experience but being able to submit something is preferable over not being able to submit a radar at all.
