FTP extension with remote file browsing capability?

Hi Folks, I'm trying to evaluate Brackets to see if it meets my needs. One thing which seems like it might be a problem for me is Bracket's FTP capabilities.

Does anyone know of an FTP extension for Brackets which allows browsing and downloading files using FTP? I understand that Brackets does not have the capability of editing remote files over FTP. But do any of the FTP extensions allow me to browse the remote server files, up and down through different levels of directories, and download/edit/upload files there?

I'm looking for a code editor (for Mac) which has a useful GUI for handling remote files. VS Code seems to require that I deal with FTP by editing a json file. Brackets looks good for me in many respects, but I do need something with an FTP GUI. Suggestions?
