Patch logger to also write to VS Code Output Channel

While writing up the Troubleshooting section of the documentation site, I actually stumbled upon this API method:

https://code.visualstudio.com/api/references/vscode-api#window.createOutputChannel

It allows an extension to create its own 'output channel' which can be written to (or even programmatically shown).

This would be an awesome update to the logger so users don't have to dig through a file.
