How do you set the logger property, with TypeScript

I'm setting a custom logger but TS says it must be of type Record<string, unknown>

what is the type declaration of the logger?

NOTE: the logger field is a type I have never really been able to pin down the best way to declare

I can't even set console as the logger, because typescript complains that is not Record<string, unknown>

try v9.1.2. should fix the problem. let me know if it still doesn't work.
