Hi @bstabler and team. This may or may not be a useful fit for your project here, but given its commonality of spirit I wanted to make you aware of a couple of resources.
First, a repository of drivable street network models (as GraphML, node/edge lists, and GeoPackages) for every urban area in the world (defined by the global human settlement layer), plus a set of measures and metadata:
Second, a repository of drivable street network models (as GraphML, node/edge lists, and Shapefiles) for every census place, urbanized area, county, tract, and Zillow-defined neighborhood in the United States, plus a set of measures:
Let me know if any of this is useful or interesting to your team. These were all generated via OSMnx and OpenStreetMap. I'm planning to update them all later this year when OSMnx v2.0 is released.
