download packages directly to an ext hdd or USB #18

I understand the request but I don't fully understand the use case: if you want to download a could you explain your use-case? e.g. why won't you use a desktop application to download a file and save it to USB? |
I to would love this feature as I don't have any room left on internal drive and keep a USB HDD connected for the bulk of my games in ISO or folder format in NTFS |
For the record, NTFS is not currently supported by PKGi. btw, if you don't have space on your HDD, you wouldn't be able to install the .pkg you download. (just keep it for backup purposes) |
The usecase is when people are simply "stranded" with their PS3 or want to send it to a offline friend and solely have the console, or disk space constraints, etc |
Additional note: without adding specific support for NTFS or exFAT, any .pkg over 4Gb can't be saved to an external USB drive (fat32). |
