Use quant_bins to calculate abundance, but use reads.gz

I notice that the quant_bins module requires the fq file, but I would like to use the fq.gz file, is there any way to calculate the abundance of the bins using the fq.gz file

Salmon supports gzipped fastq files thus you can revise the source script of quant_bin module yourself.
