sorry for the delay. what's the installation command you used? the following command works fine in my environment:

$ python3 -V
Python 3.7.3

$ pip3 show tensorflow
Name: tensorflow
Version: 2.5.0

$ python3 setup.py sdist
$ pip3 install dist/byteps-0.2.5.tar.gz
