1.21 soon?

I would like for baritone to be bumped up into 1.21, but there is no tag and/or branch indicating it is not being worked on. Also, will it be possible to add an enchanting and trading RNG cracker/manipulator similar to the client commands one? 1.21 was just added yesterday I believe and most mods are already up as they have been working with the snapshot and only had to make slight changes, but Baritone 1.21 is not being worked on. I would do it myself if i knew how to code as this is an open source mod and i wanted to make my own mods anyway so if anyone can teach me that would be appreciated.

the devs of baritone are mainly 2b2t players which is running on 1.19.4. all other versions are a done as goodwill and when free time allows it. RNG cracking/manipulation is not in scope of what baritone tries to be.

if a version of baritone releases in the future that is higher than 1.20.6, like if 1.21 version baritone releases will that work with 1.20.6 or does it have to be made for that specific version of minecraft?

Baritone versions sometimes work across different minor versions of Minecraft, but not across major versions (never happened so far). So in your case that's a "no". Baritone for 1.21 will most likely not wok on 1.20.6

Baritone for 1.21 already exists, what are you guys on about? I downloaded it from 9minecraft and have been using it for a few days now, no issues. Virus scanned (BitDefender) / all clean.

I can't believe this still needs to be said, but 9minecraft is NOT a reputable source for any and all mods.
The file uploads are completely unchecked, and it's well known for hosting malicious mods on it.
A virus scan on a JAR file is not going to prove anything, you'd need to actually look at the source to ensure no malicious changes have been made.

Also: how could they possibly have a 1.21 functional version, when the PR for it is not even complete... 😐

I found some fork for Baritone with 1.21 support. I don't know how good this cheat's reputation is. I found an unofficial fork on the Meteor Client website, checked it, it works. I will not leave any links, I think someone will need to find them quickly.
