Hello! The new ca.gov logo is absolutely beautiful and I love it.

Our two sites calitp.org and camobilitymarketplace.org are project websites built by a vendor (Compiler) and don't use an official ca.gov domain. It seems that this logo is intended to indicated to a user they are on an official state gov website and I'm not sure our sites meet that definition, but they might!

If it is the intended use, I imagine we might want to consider the "banner" type implementation that's used on the web template website. Image

I am tagging in the web standards team to ask.

Hi @extinah @carterm Could you help us answer this question, or direct our question to the right folks?

We've built two sites for Caltrans and there is a request to add the ca.gov logo to those sites. We are happy to do so, but want to confirm this is the intended use of that logo.
