Implement a redesigned performances listing. This includes the index, upcoming, and past performance pages. Part of the #46 epic

I think the cleanest way to structure things would be to have /performances list only the three closest upcoming performances, then have /performances/past list all past performances as before. So there would no longer be a /performances/upcoming page (or at least no direct links to it; we'll leave the link live and list all upcoming performances in the same style as /performances/past in case anyone saved the link for some reason).
