Since upgrading from web-components 1.44 to 2.8, the auto vertical spacing has been removed. There is an attribute 'spaceEqually' but this doesn't seem to work for vertically stacked progress steps.
The solution
I would like the spaceEqually attribute to work for progress steps that are stacked vertically.

Currently, we use a CSS hack to achieve the same effect so not a huge priority.
