The problem

Since upgrading from web-components 1.44 to 2.8, the auto vertical spacing has been removed. There is an attribute 'spaceEqually' but this doesn't seem to work for vertically stacked progress steps.

The solution

I would like the spaceEqually attribute to work for progress steps that are stacked vertically.

Low Priority = release date is not dependent on fix or not upcoming

What time frame would this ideally be needed by (if applicable)

Currently, we use a CSS hack to achieve the same effect so not a huge priority.

@tay1orjones I see in Carbon React, we don't allow for equal spacing when the progress indicator is vertical, do you know if this a feature we can open up or are there design restrictions around this?

@annawen1 I'm not sure.

@carbon-design-system/design what do you think?
