Composable Cards ☂️ #6614
Comments
@skcele don't ya'll have a Card in your PAL? I'm having workshop flashbacks. Maybe we can make one that works for all of us. |
@sstrubberg How can we figure out a way to do the design work on C4IP, but ensure the dev goes on in Core? |
@ljcarot I have a plan! 🚀 I don't have the specifics, but it will rely on Scrum of Scrums and me being super connected to @mattrosno and @RichKummer. I trust Rich's level of fidelity with his design specs. As long as these designs get some developer eyes on them early in the process, the handoff should be silky-smooth. |
We want to evaluate the Carbon for IBM Products cards and see if there are opportunities to make the component more composable and flexible. We'll start with researching where the component is at today, pair with development to evaluate composability opportunities, and design component and patterns for better ease of use.
Both types of cards together are some of the Carbon for IBM Products top used components. It has two main variants: productive and expressive.
Important
This workstream encompasses both card variants, but if the analysis ends up too complex we can scope it to one type of card.
