CarOS

CarOS is a Linux-based OS distribution targetting carriers (thus the name). It provides modern infratructure for monitoring and logging, providing both, a run-time environment for distributed applications as well as virtualization and containerization.

Usage

CarOS is built on-top of OpenEmbedded's poky distribution.

The current 16.01 release is based on poky 2.0.1.

The recommended way to build CarOS is using Redomat.

See the example provided in caros-release to get started.
