Status of the Improved Figure of Merit Approach in MQT Predictor

Hey,
I came across the ML-based figure of merit (FoM) using a Random Forest Regressor trained on Hellinger distance mentioned in the paper "Improving Figures of Merit for Quantum Circuit Compilation."

• Has this been integrated into MQT Predictor? If so, how can I use it? If not, when is it expected to be released?
• Do I need to manually implement it for now?

I’m integrating MQT Predictor into another project and would appreciate any guidance.

I am happy to see your interest in the ML-based Hellinger distance! We are currently wrapping up the corresponding PR.
If your timeline allows, I would recommend waiting until it is merged for the most convenient experience.
This should be accomplished (at the latest) by the end of next week.
