Thank you @rjtch - being able to generate CDEvents for GitHub events would be really useful to have SCM CDEvents for GitHub users. This issue specifically is about creating a plugin for the webhook adapter that would translate incoming GitHub webhooks into CDEvents. Apart from that, but outside the scope of this specific issue, a GitHub application would be a great way for users to start using CDEvents, and we would need to discuss whether the webhook adapter could be used for that as well, or if there is a shared code base that could be used for both projects.
