all pages break when user font size set to 48px

This issue was discovered as part of an investigation into how users changing font size affects the site.

at 48px, all pages break, having an offset to the left (which you cannot scroll to see the text) and whitespace on the right

Go to Chrome settings and set font size to 48 to reproduce:
chrome://settings/fonts?search=font

Pointing 8 for this bug as it seems to be a symptom of a larger issue that needs to be investigated. We can revisit pointing once we have an idea of what's going on with the behavior here.
