Refactor logger API and simplify examples

Replaces the client/logger split with a unified Logger type, simplifies and renames configuration structs, and updates all example code to use the new API. Removes Makefile and .golangci.yml for a lighter repo, and updates log level constants and error handling for clarity and consistency.
