This could be a really elegant way to implement the "lock" functionality I wanted earlier. In order to ship a report to a client, I should just make a printable stylesheet that will print out only the relevant (found) code signatures. Printing this to a PDF will extricate the report content from the constraints of HTML's localStorage.
