Show Navigator: Menu item not syncing with toolbar button

Describe the bug:
After you click on the Show Navigator button in the toolbar the Show Navigator item in the View menu does not have a check next to it.

To Reproduce:

1. Hide the Navigator via the View Menu, unchecking the Show Navigator item.
2. Show the navigator via the Show Navigator button in the Toolbar.
3. Open the View Menu to observe the Show Navigator item.

Observed behavior:
The Navigator is shown but the Show Navigator menu item is not checked.

Expected behavior:
When the Navigator is shown the Show Navigator menu item should be checked.
