What happened?

I downloaded the installation file from your official website and tried to run it through the PortProton program and specifically Proton 8.0-4. It did not start and crashed to the desktop with no errors. I will attach the program logs.
PortProton.log

Expected result

It should at least have started up.

Reproduction steps

  1. Downloaded the installer.
  2. I moved it to the right folder.
  3. Tried to open the installer, but I got sidetracked and it crashed.

Importancy

Crash

Area(s)

FiveM

Specific version(s)

The latest one is from your site.

Additional information

It's sad and unpleasant.

There is a section in the client FAQ here that explains why the client does not have Linux support.

See the previous discussion and other work by the community. The Linux FAQ section should probably be updated.

Future discussion about Linux support should probably be moved to the forums.
