Terrain

Terrain seems to come in three major flavors

  1. giant bespoke pieces, like an entire "staircase", entire "hills" and even some pieces practically fill the whole screen. Some are noted in the unfinished engineering doc

  2. single tile "endcap" pieces. Often corner pieces and such that bridge the gaps between the above giant pieces

  3. adjustable length pieces, that act very similar to bricks and other objects that take width/length parameters

0x40 y x 0x43 width -- this is flat grass, at least in underground levels. You can adjust how long it is with the fifth byte, which is "width - 1".

bank1/width y x 0x5 -- this is a grass "island" in mushroom11,room0. this is a sky room.
