My use case – I open a ticket. I start working on it immediately (e.g. reviewing it), without much thinking. 90% of the time there's no one else on a ticket I open, so it's easy to miss that one time and you may collide.

The other use case – another user joins after you and misses that fact.

Ideas:

  • display number of connected users on the HH extension icon (just like Slack does for messages)
  • blink/ping when someone joins
  • display something more distinguishable next to "no other users connected" in an issue header (e.g. the HH icon) when you're not alone

Haha, I've just posted a comment despite @LukaszGudel's presence in the same issue. And thought: damn, it's hard to notice this "Also on this issue" at the very end of the sidebar. Especially when we use Zenhub that makes the sidebar much longer.

And I ended up in my own issue here :D Good to know that I'm consistent.

For the reference, this is what I see now:

I think it'd be very valuable to resolve as... without it the idea of Hanghub itself is gone. If I don't notice the "Also on this issue" thing, then what's the purpose of this extension?
