Updates for modern Node and dependencies

Just found this project. Saved me from rewritting all of this.

Are you interested in updating this package to the latest build tools and dependency versions? As it stands, this doesn't build on modern systems.

I'm very glad to hear this!

Honestly this is an old project.
I used it as an actual replacement for FlashMagic (with one or two custom features related to our custom project).

Unluckily I don't have any hardware for testing anymore, thus it's here for just historic reasons :)

BTW If you plan to work on it, I can make an easy reference to your fork for future visitors landing on my project. what do you think?
