@neonwhiskers, I have incorporated your current progress from the development branch into this issue and the branch 2-add-initial-module-terraform-azurerm-mssql-vm.

Based on your work, I have further developed the following:

Executed pre-commit hooks and committed all changes to the files.
Adjusted the usage example, defining it initially with all default values.
Added tests for examples (usage) and remote configurations.
