Removing flair on profile does not instantly clear flair from hover profile or from previous messages

A user removing the pieces of flair (virtual badges) from his profile does not right-then clear them from previously sent messages. Nor does it clear them from the hovering pop up menu.

It is only when that user sends a subsequent message that the flair gets cleared from the previous one.

I tested this only within a single chat window, I have not looked at how it works between chats.
I have tested this behavior only with removing profile flair. I have not tested it with adding profile flair.
