Description of the bug

The preview in the character creator is completely black. Cycling the background has no effect.

What's the difference with what should have happened?

You should be able to see your marine so you can see what visual effects your customisations have.

How do we reproduce this bug?

Currently unknown what causes this in the first place, however:

1. Open the character creator
2. Observe that the preview is solid black
3. Change any option and receive no visual feedback from the preview

I can confirm, though I will note that this only occurs if you Edit Characters in a game already in progress, or were not in the lobby before the game started.

My guess is that the game itself is such a resource hog that the character menu struggles to load, I 'unno.
