Description of the bug

I've been experiencing a regularly occuring problem of having the hugger hide ability active and still appearing on top of doors

What's the difference with what should have happened?

I would expect the hugger would be hidden under the door/resin door until they either deactivated hide or performed a leap.

How do we reproduce this bug?

  1. Spawn as a hugger
  2. Active your hugger ability to hide
  3. Start moving through doors

Cannot reproduce on hybrisa, hybrisa with latest master, or on live. If theres specific doors, provide images or coordinates.

The author of #6780 is correct. I have done further testing to determine that passing over a streetlight, a traffic light or a fire hydrant will break the hide ability while remaining highlighted in purple. This movement should have no impact on hide much like passing over a low railing.

There may be additional edge cases, but, passing over anything that triggers the swerving animation breaks hide.

With cd72ac2 if a shimmy component needs to change the layer, the hide ability will be reset & disabled until no longer shimmying in a position that is overriding the layer.
