The Konveyor team is working on a VSCode plugin aimed at enhancing user experience. - https://github.com/konveyor-ecosystem/kai-vscode-plugin. This project was originally adopted from the downstream MTA plugin and is licensed under EPL 2.0.

Could you please advise on the steps we need to follow to integrate this plugin into the Konveyor GH Org while complying with the CNCF guidelines?

Yes. The code has been modified and is under active development. It will be receiving update as and when required in the future

Alternative would be to rewrite the entire plugin from scratch to perform the same functionality it provides right now

Integrates with other components?

We are planning to bring it over to Konveyor Org - https://github.com/konveyor and it will be used as a mechanism to kick of analysis of the application from VSCode and get refactoring suggestions from LLM for the incidents found during analysis.
