Option for regular chapters support students #3
Comments
@sergioarmgpl thanks for sharing! This has been on my mind too and is definitely an important need. @xmulligan I believe we talked about this, how others can get involved and that led me to open #1 |
Students can apply to host community groups. What kind of official support are you looking for @sergioarmgpl ? @kunal-kushwaha we are working towards a campus captains program, but need to determine what we as CNCF can support with our limited resources. Once we have an alpha, I would love to have you review it |
@xmulligan I just mean that my regular Guatemala Community group supports students. And our community group will be a hybrid group with students and graduated attendees. The reason is that we are not too many people compared with other countries. Or I will be happy at least if this CNCFStudents group can retweet or share about outside groups of CNCFStudents that are working with students in other languages like Spanish. For me, this means that CNCF recognizes or supports that we are working with students too, in Guatemala. In general, just looking if it's possible to be a hybrid group. |
Thanks for sharing, sounds good to me |
I would like CNCF students to accept that regular chapters support students in an official way, something that I am doing at the moment. In my case, I am a professor working with a lot of students, but we are not a lot of people and I can't manage 2 chapters at the same time.
